The Gutierrez Bros. were early success stories as some of the first graduates of the Telegraph child care program in 1975.

On one of his trips to Mexico, in the airport, the elder brother tapped DM on the shoulder and introduced himself, "I remember the words you gave us. Be Proud of our culture. Now I am taking classes at the University of Mexico because one day I hope to be the ambassador to Mexico".
