Actor Ricardo Montalban became an active supporter since 1965. Likewise, Anthony Quinn understood the plight of the Mexican American and why MAOF was necessary. He contributed financially and made himself available in the many functions of MAOF.

DM continues to have yearly discussions with Montalban.
